Overall Summary For the 2026 Program
In
the
calendar
year
of
2026
our
curriculum
focuses
on
designing
their
insurance
program
on
the
needs
basis
instead
of
simply
selling
a
policy.
This
is
an
ethically
based
approach
to
use
for all of the various insurance needs of families and individuals.
We
will
discuss
the
use
of
wills
and
even
trusts
in
financial
planning.
Although
insurance
professionals
do
not
provide
advice
in
this
area,
knowing
how
insurance
products
play
a
role
and how they are structured for use with trusts and wills.
The
courses
are
presented
via
interactive
presentations
on
the
ZOOM
platform.
Video/audio
modules
will
be
utilized
also.

C.E. Requirements To Renew An Insurance License In Utah
The
State
of
Utah
Requires
that
you
renew
your
license
every
2
year.
The
renewal
deadline
is
the
last
day
of
the
the
licensee’s
birthdate.
If
the
licensee
possesses
more
than
one
license,
all
licenses
will
renew
in
the
same
year.
If
multiple
licenses
exist,
the
C.E.
requirement
only
needs
to
be
met
one
time
during each licensing period and all credits will be attached to all of the licenses.
Format of the Required Hours
•
24 total credit hrs for all licensees except those with only a title insuraance authority
•
Title agents must complete 12 hrs total, 3 in “ethics” and at aleast 6 in classroom
•
At least 3 credit hrs must be a course approved for “Ethics”
•
At
least
12
credit
hrs
must
be
approved
as
a
classroom
course(s)
or
a
“class
equivalent”
course(s)
•
Nor more than 12 credit hrs can be sel-study or correspondence course(s
)
•
Excess hrs over the the 24 total hrs CAN NOT BE CARRIED OVER to a future licensing period
•
There is NO GRACE PERIOD beyond the renewal date
•
There
is
a
$1.25
(subject
to
change)
per
credit
hr
fee
charged
by
the
State
to
report
the
hrs
and
this fee will be collected by the course provider as the time of enrollment in the course(s)
